hycnth 2: mysteriis doloris is the guitar-only follow up to A Budding Reconciliation of Values (which focused on making accordion and noninstruments sound like guitars). wielding elements of minimalism, repetition, and improvisation this work pays conspicuous homage to the early work of earth's Dylan Carlson while maintaining it's own element. this is an exploration of suffering, joy, ego death, and the holiness of all things. this is a ritual.
